The Yaxham Light Railway is a private railway located alongside the Mid-Norfolk Railway a couple of miles south of Dereham and the A47. The line is 380 yards long with a 1 in 38 incline down from the upper level in the field alongside the line down to the standard gauge trackbed. The line is occasionally opened to the public or to private parties, normally running Easter Bunny specials for local youngsters each spring. | |
