Lady Joy has a tank-mounted dome, with safety valves and regulator within. She is therefore clearly based on the Dinorwic Port class, and was presumably named in line with the first prototype. The only difference is that the cab is of the standard design, with deep, curved cut-outs

Lady Joy
Built by. Brian Chalmers & completed by Dave Pucci in 1985. Lady Joy currently works at Uckfield Model Railway Club
